The laptop offers choices between the 8 or 7-generation Intel Core i7 processors, HDD and SSD support, and DDR4 RAM High-end models are also equipped with a separate Nvidia GPU.

Notebook 3 and Notebook 5 have a sleek 0-screw finish, which is in line with Samsung’s design language. Available in 14-inch and 15-inch monitors, notebook 3 can be configured with up to eighth generation Intel Core i7 processors and can achieve full HD display resolution. The 15-inch model can also be configured with an NVIDIA MX110 video card, while two models feature 43Wh batteries. Samsung has not disclosed RAM and storage configuration.

Notebook 5 will only provide a 15-inch display Full HD display, it also touts Intel’s eighth generation Core i7 processor next to the NVIDIA MX150 GDDR5 graphics card. It also comes with a 43Wh battery and a VGA front camera. This spec is certainly not something written at home, but they will be enough for those who just want a notebook that can handle daily calculations without any problems.

Samsung’s laptop 3 and notebook 5 feature a wide range of precision touchpad and full-sized keyboards with digital pads. Keycaps are ergonomically designed for comfortable typing. There is an anti-glare panel on the display with color tuned to the Samsung color engine, for vibrant images.

The company says its new notebooks will be available in selected countries, including South Korea this month. A wider global distribution will see notebooks 3 and Laptops 5 in Q2, 2018 in China and Brazil in a way. Samsung hasn’t confirmed the prices of these new laptops.
